No commission. Owner. Hurry up!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Sounds like a dream. It\u2019s not. If similar listings in the area are going for $400\u2013$600, but this one is dirt cheap \u2014 red alert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd0d <em>What to do:<\/em><br>Google the photos (drag them into Google Images). You\u2019ll probably find the same pictures used in a dozen fake listings \u2014 or even from a real estate site in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"2-im-abroad-but-send-a-deposit-and-ill-mail-you-the-keys\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>\u201cI\u2019m abroad, but send a deposit and I\u2019ll mail you the keys\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Real message we\u2019ve seen:<br><em>\u201cI\u2019m currently in Germany, but my cousin will give you the keys. Just send the deposit first.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Classic scam. Spoiler again: the cousin doesn\u2019t exist. Neither do the keys. And the money? Gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u261d\ufe0f <em>Never pay anything before you\u2019ve seen the place in person.
